"Butler Pairs" Championship

One qualifying round is held each month. This competition is now scored by Cross-IMPS. The Jacobs Shield is awarded to the pair with the four best scores.

Butler scoring was used prior to 2013. The bidding/play tactics you have used for Butler Pairs are entirely appropriate for Cross-IMP scoring.

George and Joyce Jacobs were early members of the Club. George was also sometime County Chairman. The original shield was filled by 2001 so was replaced by the Club with a larger one in 2002.
