About Cambridge Bridge Club
According to its constitution, the purpose of CBC is:
"... the amicable conduct of duplicate contract bridge competitions of a high standard in accordance with the Laws of the game..."
The club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) and is a member of Cambs & Hunts CBA.
Visitors
We welcome visitors! Please fill in the info form for visitors prior to your first session. Table money: £3.50/session
Join the club!
New members are always welcome. Membership costs £5 per year (discounted to zero for students). Members pay reduced table money (£2.50). If you would like to join CBC, please complete a membership application .
Hosted Sessions
Monday sessions are hosted. This provides the opportunity for players to arrive without a partner and still be able to play.

The Trumpington Club
For beginners making the transition from learning bridge to playing duplicate in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, CBC recommends the Trumpington Club, which meets every Tuesday. More information is on the Trumpington Club information page.
Playing sessions
Two face-to-face sessions are held at Trumpington Village Hall:
- Monday morning 10am
- Tuesday evening 7.30pm
Two online sessions are held:
- Wednesday 7.30pm on RealBridge
- Thursday 10am on BBO
Bridge Lessons
Bridge classes are provided for beginners (Monday evenings) and improvers (Wednesday evenings). Email Gladys at: beginners@cambridgebridgeclub.org or call on 01223 927067.
Online classes & coaching
Online classes for beginners/improvers and online bridge coaching for intermediate/club duplicate players can be provided.
The coaching consists of an 8-week course including topics such as declarer play, defence, slam bidding, competitive auctions, pre-empts, Michaels and Unusual 2NT.
